Hush Puppies were able to subdue Benitoz at a mere 113, 63 runs short of the tying score, thanks to an outstanding innings by Hassan Arshad and Asad Arshad.
Hush Puppies batted first and scored a staggering 176 runs at the loss of 7 wickets. Hassan Arshad opened the innings and managed to score a spectacular 65 runs in 48 balls with a strike rate of 135.42. However, the rest of the top order fell quickly and it wasn’t until Asad Arshad came out that the innings shifted back in the favor of Hush Puppies. He scored a solid 48 runs just shy of a half-century and was the 2nd best performance in the innings before the eventual and quick collapse of the rest of the middle and lower order.
Hush Puppies presented a strong bowling attack with Saqib Nisar and Ali Nisar Saleem each claiming 3 wickets to their name. Benitoz got off to a shaky start with the starting batsmen crumbling with just 17 runs scored cumulatively. Despite the middle order’s attempt to try and keep the scoreboard ticking, Benitoz lost all their wickets in 17.1 overs, having made just 113 runs. Hush Puppies won by 63 runs.
