Hiba Builders and Thunders were victorious against their Bantva Super League opponents, Sabuwala Strkers, by a substantial margin of 6 wickets.
Sabuwala Strikers opened the first innings and seemed to be on a good track to winning with opener Faheem Bilwani scoring 49 runs. Unfortunately, the rest of the batting order paled in comparison with the Habib Shoaib being the second highest scorer having scored 30 runs. On the other hand, Hiba Builders and Thunders had a spectacular innings thanks to a good start by Ali Bantva scoring 42 runs and a closing knock of 38 by Osama Ayub. Sabuwala Strikers managed to make 139 for the loss of 7 wickets; a target which was chased by Hiba Builders and Thunders in 19.1 overs losing just 4 wickets in the process.
Sabuwala Strikers bowling spree did not keep their rivals from consistently scoring and amassing solid knocks. They only managed to take three wickets with Ali Bantva being run out. Hiba Builders and Thunders did what their opponents couldn’t and kept Sabuwala’s batting line-up suppressed enough to restrict them to 139 runs.
