Wintex Strikers batted first against Trail Blazers at the semi final of the Legends Cup! OpenerRehan Tanoli was the lone fighter for his side with a valiant 42 while he lost 5 of his partners in single digits including 2 ducks. Strikers looked on their way to a complete collapse before Adeel Abbasi stepped in provide further support. His valuable 49 came off just 41 balls, followed closely by Adnan Salim's 24. Blazers bowlers turned up the heat with Ubaid Umer being the stand out bowler for his side with 3 wickets and a run out. Muhammad Ali also chipped in with 3 wickets while Mamoon Imtiaz picked up a couple as Wintex Strikers ended at 152 for 9 in 20 overs.
In response, Trail Blazers lost both their openers cheaply before Tayyab Balagamwala's 19 and Humayun Alamgir's 15 provided some hope for their side. Adnan Akthar kept things ticking with a cameo of 28 but the real hero was Yasir Tanveer. Yasir's unbelievable match winning knock of 62 came of just 27 balls and included 6 boundaries and 4 sixes. Rehan Tanoli picked up 2 wickets for his side but in vain. Trail Blazers chased down the target in 18.3 overs.
