Dastagir Strikers batted first against QP Stars with Balaj Qureshi and Ahmed taking their opposition by storm. Balaj scored 59 off 48 while Ahmed got his side off to a roaring start with 87 off just 44 balls. One down Usman also chipped in with 31. Raheel Iftikhar eventually made inroads, picking up 3 wickets but the damage had already been done. Muhammad Shamshad also picked up a couple of wickets as Dastagir Strikers ended at a mammoth 215 for 5 in 20 overs.
In response, QP Stars were off to a decent start with opener Wajid Khan knocking 26 runs. Kamran Khan and Arsalan Ali Khan lead the charge with scores of 42 runs each respectively. Strikers bowlers continued to pick wickets but Stars batsmen were determined, contributing cameos along the way. Muhammad Arshad also chipped in with 28 runs while Asif Raza and Naushad Alam's 17 and 16 kept the team's chances alive. Strikers Irfan Khan took 3 wickets while Sameer Ghani picked up a couple but eventually heartbreak ensued with 2 run outs bowling out QP Stars for 210 in 19.2 overs.
