Gigi Gladiators defeated Trail Blazers by 3 wickets at the SPL.
Trail Blazers batted first and lost opener Adamjee Tai for just 5 runs. The team however recovered well after that with Shehzad Arain Anwar (59 from 38) and Shaz Shajani (47 from 33, not out) taking charge to set a decent total of 175 for 5 in 20 overs. Usman Ghani also chipped in with a blistering 27 off 12. Mustafa Fattani and Ubaid Ghazi took 2 wickets each for their side.
In response, Gigi Gladiators stumbed throughout the innings but managed to make it across the line. It was Shahzaib Dyer (31 from 20), Adeel Abbasi (50 from 35, not out) and Ibrahim Kohistani (42 from just 15) who guided them to victory. The team made 176 in 19.3 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Khurram Rangila and Shaz Shajani took 2 wickets each while Ansar Bhesania, Owais Arif Sultanpur and Sameer Ahmedani took one each.
