Atlas won a close finish against the Insurance Association of Pakistan here at the CAA Ground this past Saturday.
Atlas batted first and made 169 in 20 overs for the loss of seven wickets. Obaid Ur Rehman made an impressive 55 from 40 to help push the team to a competitive total. Umer Hussain took 3 wickets while Aamir Abbas took two. Umer Noor and Inam Khan took one wicket each.
IAP got off to a good start with opener Rameez Mehboob making 48 from 38 balls. Unfortunately, their momentum derailed and the rest of the batting order could not deliver and fell. They made 158 runs in 19.2 overs for the loss of 10 wickets. Mir Ali, Feroz Haider, Ali Shah and Haris Siddique took 2 wickets each while Mir Ahnaf took one wicket.
Atlas Pakistan won by 11 runs.
