Winning XI batted first against GKGP XI with the team struggling to get going at any stage of the innings. Arif Osmani contributed a cameo of 26 but it was Faizan Pervaiz who really carried his side with an impressive half century knock of 54 off 46 balls. The team however lost a flurry of quick wickets after that with Azzghal leading the charge with 3 wickets in his spell. Obaid also chipped in with a couple as Winning XI ended at 146 for 9 in 20 overs.
In response GKGP XI's victory was all due to one man. Opener Syed Baqar scored an impressive 96 runs 61 balls including 13 boundaries to singlehandedly set up the win for his side. He continued lose partners as the team lost a flurry of quick wickets but eventually Farhan's 13 off 8 saw his side chase down the target in 19.1 overs. The star of the game for us was 9 year old Ali Azher who was sensational in his spell, picking up 2 wickets 23 runs. His father Jamshed also chipped in with 2 wickets.
GKGP won by 4 wickets.
