P Khan Cricket Club were able to make quick work of their opponents, Rising Star XI, this past Sunday at the Asghar Ali Shah Ground.
P Khan batted first and thanks to some well-timed performances from Arif (32 from 20), Shahzaib Dyer (29 from 25), Faraz Ali (29 from 24) and Alishah (32 from 20) the team was able to push the total to 150 in 18 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Ahmed Malik and Ahmed Yaqoob took two wickets while Danish Mir, Sadiq Suriya and Abdul Qadir Ibrahim took one each.
Rising Star were not able to live up to the challenge and fell after scoring just 59 runs in 12.3 overs. P Khan bowled impressively and were able to stop their opponents at such a low total. Zubair, Anas Waheed and Kashif took two wickets while Alishah and Ejaz Khan took one each.
