Okhai Smashers won the match against Okhai United by 22 runs, here at the RLCA Gulberg this past Monday.
Okhai Smashers made 156 in 20 overs for the loss of ten wickets. They batted consistently and kept the scoreboard ticking even though none of the batsmen scored really high. Farhan Panjwani took an impressive three wickets for Okhai United while Fareed Saleem Gaba and Abdul Wahab Razzak took two and Abdul Rahim Ashraf Gaziani and Bilal Farooq Toberiya took one.
Okhai United were only able to make 134 in 19.3 overs before being all out. Despite impressive performances from Farhan Panjwani (51 from 43) and Abdul Wahab Razzak (25 from 28) the team was unable to chase the target. Haris Jiwani took three wickets while Humayun Wahid Panjwani and Aslam Abdulaziz Gaba took two.
