Gladiators beat Shadab Sports by six wickets at the TMC Ground this past week.
Shadab Sports batted first and were off to a sensational start and looked well on their way to making a huge total. Unfortunately the middle and lower order failed to deliver and despite 80 from 49 by Ahmed Kabeer and 48 from 33 by Talha Faheem the team was only able to make 167 in 20 overs for the loss of seven wickets. Asif Shareef took four wickets while Kamil Mehmood, Farhan Nisar and Sufyan Butt took one wicket.
The Gladiators chased the target in 18.1 overs for the loss of four wickets thanks to a flurry of consistently good knocks.Farhan Nisar made 54 from 31 as the highest scorer for his team and remained not out. Ahsan Shakoor took two wickets while Umer Farooq and Badar Qureshi took one.
