Bright Gymkhana beat Big Bang Entertainment XI by a substantial 37 runs at the TMC Ground this week.
The dynamic duo of Haider Bangash who made 90 from just 55 and Shafaqat Ali who made 76 from 42 helped Bright Gymkhana reach a dominant total of 196 in 20 overs for the loss of just three wickets. Faisal Jamil, Faizan Shaikh and Inayat Ullah Khan took one wicket each.
Big Bang produced some big hitters but ultimately it was not enough to chase the enormous target and withstand a spectacular bowling attack. Sardar M Baksh Khan Mehar made 55 from 43, Inayat Ullah Khan made 43 from 34 and Ali Khan made 24 from 17.They were only able to make 159 in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Syed Ali Nasim took an impressive three wickets while Shehzad Meher took two and Shoaib Ibrahim took one.
