Amadeus Super Cricketers beat Ghaziani Sports by 26 runs in a thrilling contest this past week at the TMC Ground.
Amadeus put up 155 on the scoreboard in 20 overs for the loss of six wickets. A line-up on consistent batting from Yawar Imam (31 from 32), Adeel Shamsi (52 from 46), Rizwan Ahsan (22 from 15, not out) and Ibad Anis (24 from 14) played a big role in setting the total. Aftab Khan took two wickets while Riaz Gaziani and Zafar Ali took one wicket for Ghaziani Sports.
Ghaziani Sports were all out in 19.4 overs after having made just 129 runs. Saad Shah’s 15 from 14, Adnan Akhtar’s 39 from 25 and Riaz Gaziani’s 20 from 28 was still not enough to help their team pick up the win. Hasan Mehmood took three wickets while Kahaf Patel took two along with Umer Noor and Yaqzan Rajput.
