Farman & Co beat Godhra Muslim Anjum by 30 runs at the Young Fighter Ground this past week.
A spectacular 49 runs runs from 29 balls by opener Saleem and 42 from 39 by Faraz who remained not out, gave Farman & Co the boost that they needed to score 145 in 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets. Khalid and Obaid Ahmed took two wickets while Bilal, Ehtesham and Shamir Ali took one wicket.
Godhra Muslim Anjum made 115 runs in 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets. Their only performing batsman was Sami Arshad who made 27 from 33. Saleem took an impressive three wickets while M Salman took two and Atta, Sajid and Ikram took one.
