Shan XI won the match by 37 runs against North XI here at the RLCA Gulberg this past week, in an absolutely dominating show in the 2nd Big Bash Ramadan Night Tournament.
Shan XI put 211 on the scoreboard in 20 overs for the loss of three wickets thanks to an outstanding batting line-up. Opener Fahad Ali made 48 from 33, Rana Shafaqat made 52 from 27, Kamran Ibrahim made 24 from 18, Zeeshan Haider made 39 from 24 and Noman Ampara made 34 from 20. Aijaz and Imran took one wicket.
North XI produced some amazing performances as well with Umair making 47 from 38 and Faisal making 54 from 36. However, the total was too much to chase and North XI were all out in 20 overs after scoring 174. Shahid Jiwani and Fahad Ali took two wickets while Babat Raza, Waqar Ahmed, Shafiq, Talha Ghayas and Abdul Qadir took one wicket.
