Arshad Associates won the match by just one run against Malik Associates here at the Eidgah Ground this past week.
In what was a consistent and dominating performance, Arshad CC put on 223 in 20 overs for the loss of six wickets as opener Rehan Tanoli made 23 from 13, Sohail Ahmed made 66 from 30, Mirza Shoaib made 44 from 44,Ejaz Shah made 46 from 25 and they were awarded a massive 32 extra runs. Shakir Wali took an outstanding four wickets while Ghaffar took two.
Despite their poor bowling performance, Malik Associates more than made up for it with their batting by scoring 222 in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Imran Malik made 23 from 26, Gul Hasan Khan made 55 from 29, Obaid Ur Rehman made 29 from 16 and Shakir Wali made 60 from 20 in what was a star performance. Sohaib Ejaz, Mirza Shoaib and Shahid Ali took two wickets while Rehan Tanoli took one.
