Abu Bakar Associates beat Godhra Muslim Anjum by just 10 runs at the Young Fighter Ground this week. Abu Bakar batted first and thanks to Dawar Khan (21 from 21), Faizy (31 from 28), Waheed Hussain (23 from 26) and Faizan (29 from 18) they managed to out on 140 in 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets. Asif Atal, Asad and Ibrahim took two wickets along with Usama while Konain took one.
Godhra Muslim came close to reaching the target but they were stopped by some aggressive bowling from Abu Bakar Associates. Talha made 14 from 13, Noman made 29 from 25, Ibrahim made 21 from 18 and Shazaib made 35 from 29. Arif took two wickets while Zain Ul Abedin, Nadeem, Faizy and Jilani took one.
