Bilal Associates beat Farman & Co at the Young Fighter Ground this past week, by 11 runs.
They made a good total of 146 in 19.5 overs for the loss of ten wickets. Ahmed Hussain made 26 from 34. Waseem Ali made 46 from 34 which was pivotal in helping the team reach a high enough total to defend. Zafar bowled very dangerously and took out half the team. M Salman took two wickets while Aftab and Saleem took one.
Farman & Co came close to victory thanks to 50 from 32 by Saleem and 29 from 27 by Ejaz. Their lower order failed to deliver however and they were only able to make 135 runss. Bilawal Malik and Bilal Khan each took three wickets while Waseem Ali took two and Arif Yaqoob took one.
