Dolphins CC beat City Gymkhana in dominating fashion last week at the RLCA Gulberg, earning a six-wicket win over them.
City Gymkhana put up a modest total of 107 in 18.5 overs before being unceremoniously bowled out. Jawed made 19 runs, while Sajid made an impressive 43 from 38. Badar Qureshi dealt a heavy blow by taking four wickets, Mohib Ahsan took two and Zain Khan, Umer Khan and Sayyam Afridi took one.
The opening smashes of Adeel Khan (34 from 20) and Azhar Khan (46 from 39) helped the Dolphins quickly chase the total in just 16.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. Zahid, Jawed, Yaseen and Shaz Alam took one wicket each but it was not enough to stop the Dolphins.
