The Karachi Titans proved too much to handle for the Super Daddy Cricket Club and bested them by three wickets at the South End Club, on the 8th of May.
Super Daddy Cricket Club put on a modest total of 137 in 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets. They started of strong but their lower batting order failed to deliver and hence they could not score higher. The most significant contributions to the total were from Rehan Shaikh who made 26 from 24, Babar Mufti who made 27 from 26 and Arham Latif who made 28 from 17. Saud Hussain took an impressive three wickets for the Karachi Titans while the rest followed suit with two wickets for Ali Zuberi and Dr Nawazish and one wicket for Farhan and Affan Zuberi.
The Karachi Titans had a rocky start but some well-timed knocks placed them in a position to win by three wickets in 18 overs. Sohail Khan made 21 from 11, Wajhi made 28 from 31, Saud Hussain shined once again by making 31 from 27 and Deera made 20 from 19. With 13 extra runs they were easily able to chase the target. Zeeshan bowled brilliantly and took three wickets while Aurangzeb Bhatti, Shahram Rasool and Babar Mufti took one.
