Estate World XI claimed victory in the final of the 1st Saleem Memorial Ramazan Night Bin Qasim Tournament, beating Young Alliance by 61 runs at the Bin Qasim Ground.
In what was an enthralling first innings, Ali Ahmed gave his team a fiery start by making 37 from 18 balls. Hamza followed with 18 from 15 and then Abdur Rehman Bawany smashed a 40 from 31 balls to help the team reach 141 in 20 overs for the loss of 10 wickets. The lower batting order was unable to make as significant a contribution to the score. Mamoon Imtiaz took two wickets while Arshad Khan, Arsalan Khan. Muhammad Ali, Sharukh Khan and Muzammil Abbas took one wicket each.
Young Alliance completely failed to deliver any sort of challenge to the Estate World XI and their entire batting order was victim to some ferocious bowling. Half their runs were as a result of extras and the total came to 80 runs in 11.4 overs before the team was all out. Jahazaib took four wickets while Salman and Uzair took two.
