National Foods went through the NBP Logistics, beating them by six wickets at the TMC ground in what was an absolutely thrilling contest.
NBP batted first and managed a modest total of 136 in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Sohail Zaman's 25 from 18 and 36 from 20 by Ahmed Ali helped them reach the total, with these two being the highest scorers in the innings. Azhar Ali took an outstanding three wickets while Abdul Salam took two and Ali Nasir and Ghulam Adil took one.
National Foods chased the target in just 18.3 overs for the loss of four wickets. Power knocks from Jibran (37 from 20), Ali Nasir (45 from 46) and Waqar Ahmed (32 from 19) were major contributors. Rashid Ali Khan took two wickets while Shahid Mushtaq took one.
