Challengers CC beat the Uni Tigers by three wickets at the Asghar Ali Shah Ground last week.
Uni Tigers batted first and were restricted to 111 in 17.1 overs before being all out. Kamran Memon contributed 13 from 11, Mustafa Irfan made 31 from 23 and Obaid Raza made 26 from 24. They also took advantage of 14 extra runs. Shahrukh and Fahad took three wickets each while Abdullah took two and Moin and Hashim took one each.
The Challengers chased the target in just 18.2 overs for the loss of seven wickets. 15 from 20 by Abdullah, 38 from 31 by Al-Amin and 14 from 13 by Basit, helped them pick up the win. Danish Mir and Hussain took two wickets while Sumair, Abdul Qadir and Abdul Qadir Jr took one wicket each.
