Bright Gymkhana earned a four wicket win over Alliance Sports at the Hill Park Ground this week.
After an initial hiccup, Alliance Sports bounced back with Raza Ahmed Khalid making 40 from 36 and M Waris making 25 from 15. They made 126 in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Afroz Hassan took three wickets while Imran Habib took two and Afzal Qureshi and Muhammad Sajid took one.
Bright Gymkhana was able to overturn the challenge by chasing the target in 17.3 overs. Shafaqat Ali's 40 from 30 and 37 from 24 by Danish Moin really helped to establish the base needed for this win. Asad Bashir and Taha Gul Ahmed took two wickets while Raza Ahmed Khalid took one.
