The Horizon Stars were handed a defeat by five wickets by the TBH Gladiators this week at the TMC Ground.
The Horizon Stars batted first and after the initial shock of losing their opening batsmen for nil, Rehan Hakeem brought them back into the game with 79 from 58, remaining not out. Zia Khan made 22 from 20 and Danish Khannani made 17 from 20. They made 148 in 20 overs for the loss of five wickets. Bilal Shafique took two wickets while Talha Bin Haider took one.
The TBH Gladiators started slow but 41 from 33 by Adeel Mehboob and 24 from 17 by Farhan Kazim helped them get the momentum they needed to chase the target in just the nick of time. Hamza Khan and Usman Abdullah took two wickets each while Asadullah Ghalib took one.
