Flame Fighters beat the Dolphins by a staggering 51 runs at the Al Mansoora Ground last week.
The Flame Fighters batted first and thanks to the Herculean efforts of opener M Khalid (84 from 56) and M Yaseen (65 from 35) they managed to get 189 on the scoreboard in 20 overs for the loss of five wickets. Alam Zaib, Hamza Shahnawaz and Farhan Shah took one wicket each.
The Dolphins, unfortunately fell spectacularly short of the mark as they were only able to make 138 runs before being all out. Farhan Shah looked like he was going to score big but was stopped at 21 runs from 8 balls. Usman Bawany was also only able to make 20 from 19 before being run out. Taufeeq Saleem and Rameez Mehboob took two wickets while Abdul Haseeb, Luqman Salar, Muhammad Asim and Muhammad Usman Arif took one wicket each.
