Zubair Muhammadi CC batted first against Benitoz at the 23rd Challengers Corporate Cup with opener Arsalan Khan turning up for his side. Arsalan was the only player from his side to put up a fight with a valiant 53 off 54 including 2 boundaries. His partner Saad Dawood also knocked a cameo of 25 but the rest of the side imploded. Benitoz bowlers were on fire, bamboozling the opposition for just 121 in 19.4 overs. Hamza Qadir and Umer Khan were the star bowlers as always, picking up 3 wickets each while Madni Waqas chipped in with a couple.
In reply, Benitoz openers made easy work of the chase with Ahmed Arshad scoring 47 and Daniyal keeping things going on the other end with 41. Aziz Shahid did manage to pick up 2 wickets but it was too little too late as Benitoz chased down the target in 17.4 overs.
Benitoz won by 5 wickets.
