Amazing Stars proved too much to handle for the Uni Tigers, beating them by 68 runs at the Eidgah Ground last week.
Amazing Stars had a solid opening partnership with Yasir and Bilal making 55 from 31 and 57 from 40, respectively. After the pair were dismissed however, Tigers bowlers pulled back the opposition, picking up wickets consistently to stop the flow of runs. Eventually, Noman's 16 and Zohaib's 13 helped their side reach a mammoth 164 for 8 in 18 overs. Sumair and Kamran Memon were the key wicket takers for their side with 3 scalps each.
Uni Tigers struggled to cope with the aggressive bowling of the Stars and their batting line-up simply collapsed in the face of it. Obaid Raza's 19 from 19 and Abdul Qadir's 14 from 16 looked like it had potential before both of them were dismissed. Arham lead the charge in bowling by with a fantastic spell of 4 wickets while Anas and Haseeb took 2 wickets each and Zohaib picked up a wicket.
