Arsalan Iqbal beat the Butt Brothers by 16 runs at the TMC Ground this week.
Arsalan Iqbal batted first and a flurry of consistent knocks from Adnan Siddiqui (19 from 17), Ahmed Altaf (26 from 34), Umair Khan (32 from 16) and Tauqeer Khan (20 from 10) gave the team a total of 139 in 20 overs. Masoom Ali was the key wicket taker with 3 wickets while Saqib Khan picked up a couple and Mohsin Saleem and Khalid Khursheed Kaka took one each.
The Butt Brothers started off strong but were ultimately stopped at just 123 runs. Ahmed Hussain and Bilal Omer made 20 from 14 and 24 from 15 respectively while Saqib Khan made 27 from 23. Shoaib Abbasi, Tauqeer Khan and Zafar Ali did well to restrict the opposition, picking up 2 wickets each while Asadullah Hamza took one.
