Suleman Textile took on the Karachi Demons and won by 28 runs at the IBA Ground this week.
Suleman Textile were smashing from the beginning with opener Mohammad Ali making 24 from 17, the star of the innings Obaid Anees making 77 from 40 and Shahid Mirani making 39 from 25. Owais Arif Sultanpur took three wickets, H Bhatti took two and Aziz Shahid took one.
The Karachi Demons had to chase 188 but fell short after making 160. U Ashraf was retired hurt after 39 runs and Abdullah Zareen was able to make 39 from 22 . Naveed Rangoonia took three wickets, and Rabish Ahmed, Shehzad Suleman and Akhtar Muhammad took one.
