Bowlers Defend 104 In Haseen Habib Victory

Haseen Habib met the Dolphins CC in the 23rd Super Challengers Cup.

Batting first, Haseen Habib did not get off to a great start. Both openers were dismissed for under 10 runs. Usman Shah at No. 3 tried to consolidate an innings, scoring 31 off 32 but he did not get too much support as wickets kept falling. Nadir Shah's 3 wickets for 16 runs kept the batsmen quiet as the scoring rate fluctuated around 5 runs an over. The innings ultimately wrapped up for a measly 104 runs as the Dolphins CC bowlers knocked over the batting line-up inside 19.5 overs.

In the second innings, the Dolphins CC batsmen made an absolute mess out of a very small chase. The top order crumbled quickly, exposing the middle order early on. Muhammad Atif and Usman Shah's combined efforts in the bowling department helped wipe out the middle order as well. Umair Botam at No. 7 top-scored for his team, with 18 off 20 deliveries. The entire batting display featured only two batsmen scoring above 10 runs. Haseen Habib bowlers closed out the second innings in just 16.2 overs, as the opposition rolled over for 79 runs.

Despite posting a weak target on the board, Haseen Habib won the match by 25 runs.
