Masaqa CC emerged winners against NN Strikers by 51 runs. The match was played between the two team on July 31st at the Hill Park Cricket Ground.
Ejaz Shah started the innings for Masaqa CC and got out on a duck. Their non-striker opening batsman, Faizan Malik, was also unable to contribute much as he got out on 1. The partnership between Fareed Shah Arbab and Farhan Maxii was vital as both contributed a total of 59 runs. The lower order batsman Zakir Malik was stunning with his efforts as he score 49 off 33. Wasi Rizvi from Strikers was successful in bagging 2 wickets.
In the second innings, Strikers had to chase a target of 181 in 20 overs. Much to their dismay, both their opening batsmen failed, as Danish Afridi score 18 runs only while Ali Nawaz Shaikh got out on a duck. No other batsmen than M Ali was able to score runs higher than 39. The bowlers was stunning as Saqib Khan bagged 3 wickets and six others bagged a wicket each.
Due to the poor batting efforts from Strikers, Masaqa sealed the match by 51 runs.
