MF Roomi Strikers won against T&M Warriors at TMC Ground on 27th July.
The match started with Strikers’ batsmen Hamza Altaf and Abdul Habib opening the innings. Both lost their wickets early in the match. Usman Naviwala the on-down batsman stabilized the innings by scoring 34 off 21. In addition to his innings, Saad Dawood and Muhammad Muavia score 36 runs each. M Khanani bagged the 3 wickets for Warriors. As a result, Strikers were able to set a target of 170 runs.
The second innings did not turn out to be in favor of Warriors. They displayed a sloppy batting effort, as they lost early wickets. Hamza Shahnawaz was the highest scorer for Warriors, as he scored 23 runs only. On the other side, Strikers displayed a great bowling effort. With Saad Dawood bagging 4 wickets and Hunain Fayyaz Gader dismissing 2 batsmen.
As a result of the balanced performance from Strikers, they defended the score. Hence, emerging winners by 31 runs.
