AVT Enterprises went against Faysal Bank in the match played at IBA.
Batting first, AVT were off to a brilliant start as Talha Shehzad scored a fantastic 52 runs innings. He was supported by decent contributions of the middle order batters. Particularly Noyam Nasir’s meaningful contribution was helpful as he scored a 41 runs innings. They finished off well as the lower middle order batters Khalid and Saad contributed with their cameos. Faysal Bank bowlers were expensive. Shehriyar and Talib took 2 wickets each.
Faysal Bank’s opening batter Sheraz started of brilliantly by scoring a fantastic 60 runs innings. However, except Talib’s 34 runs innings no one else contributed in a significant manner. In the end they fell short off the target. The outstanding bowling effort of AVT was led by their three main bowlers: Ali, Abdul Rehman and Fuzail who took 2 wickets each.
As a result, AVT Enterprises emerged winners by 34 runs.
