Sumya Bantva Gladiators batted forst. They got off to a dreadful start loosing four wickets in the powerplay with very few runs on the board. They seemed to struggle big time with the bowlers dominating the match. The bowlers kept on picking up wickets in regular intervals not allowing the batsman to score runs easily. Sumya Bantva gladiators batsmen struggled to stay on the crease for long except for Abdullah Afzal who played a crucial knock of 62 runs saving his team from crisis, well supported by Umer Khanani from the other end who scored 27 runs. The pair got their team to a respectable total as they finished their 2o overs with 144 runs on the board for the loss of 9 wickets. Ali Rangila, Salman Asif, Usama Fatani & Saifullah Asif picked up 2 wickets each.
Shaddan Kutiyana Lions came in to chase this challenging target pf 145 runs. They were off to a shaky start as they lost both their openers cheaply. The bowlers then capitalized on that start not allowing the batsmen to score runs easily. The bowlers kept on picking up wickets regularly also kept bowling at tight line & lengths slowing down the scoring rate as well. The batsmen were unable to stay at the crease for a long time & up the anti. Salman Asif came in the end of the innings & tried to up the anti. He played a fiery knock of 26 off 17 balls but it was too little too late as Shaddan Kutiyana Lions were restricted to 128 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 20 overs. Mujtaba Raza & Abdullah Afzal picked up a couple of wickets which were crucial for the team.
