Shaddan Enterprises batted first & were off to a poor start as they lost 3 early wickets in the powerplay. Ismail Zubair & Mahroof Aziz stood tall & had a brilliant partnership of 50 + runs taking their team out of crisis. Mahroof Aziz was dismissed for a well made 29 runs. The bowlers then struck back taking wickets at regular itervals. The lower order collapsed. Ismail Zubair on the other hand was hitting the ball cleanly. He played a sublime knock of 80 runs taking his team to a fighting total of 170 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Imran Idrees, Hunain Usman, Ashraf Farooq, Ali Rangila & Zaid Khalid each picked up a wicket each.
MF Roomi Strikers came in to chase this target & were off to the worst possible start loosing 3 wickets early on. The bowling side kept the pressure & kept picking up wickets in quick succession. The to order & the middle order completely collapsed except for Hunain Usman & Sumair Sayani who had a parntership of 50+ runs which was later broken as Hunain Usman was dismissed after a fighting knock of 65 runs. The lower order also collapsed leaving Sumair Sayani alone for a well made 33. MF Roomi Strikers managed to make 150 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Mahroof Aziz tore apart the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets, not allowing the batsmen to score runs easily.
