Mavericks CC came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing an opener early they still managed to score at a high run rate. Sufiyan & Amir Malik put up a partnership of 50+ runs in which Sufiyan played the role of second fiddle scoring 23. After he was dismissed Usama came in & played a similar role scoring 18. Amir Malik played a fiery innings of 67 runs off just 34 deliveries. Muhammad Shahrukh came in next & scored 14 off 9. Aurangzaib contributed with his 17 where as Azhar Abbasi scored a quick fire 28 off just 18. Muhammad Ziki came in towards the back end of the innings & scored a quick fire 21 off just 9 deliveries. The bowlers were able to pickup wickets at regular intervals but were unable to stem the flow of runs. Syed Atif lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found support from Waleed Sami & Tanzeel Iqbal who picked up a couple of wickets but went for plenty. Mavericks CC posted a mammoth total of 222 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Gulshan Becks came in to chase this target & never seemed to find their footings from the word go. Batsmen got their starts but were unable to convert those starts into a big innings as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals. Hasan Siddiqui was the only batsmen who stood tall & took the attack towards the bowlers. Hasan Siddiqui played a fiery innings of 62 runs off just 34 deliveries but was unable to find support from the other end. Umer Abbasi & Ammad managed to pickup a couple of wickets each.
