Mavericks came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Bilal Aslam & Ahmed Asif put up a decent partnership with Bilal Aslam scoring 17 runs off 19 deliveries & Ahmed Asif scoring 35 runs off 22 deliveries. Once the partnership was broken the bowlers managed to pickup a couple of quick wickets. Saad Asif came in & he scored 18 runs off 19 deliveries. Usman Ashraf & Saad Faisal the put up a partnership of 50+ runs towards the back end of the innings giving their team a strong finish. Saad Faisal took the attack towards the bowlers as he scored at a quick rate. He timed the ball nicely ending the innings with a flourish. He played a sublime knock of 50 runs off 21 deliveries where as Usman Ashraf played a solid knock of 30 runs off 25 deliveries. Zarak Khan lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Naveed Nagda who picked up a couple of wickets. Mavericks posted a total of 183 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Spartans United came in to chase this target & were off to a dreadful start loosing 3 wickets inside the powerplay. Despite loosing 3 wickets they were scoring at a decent rate. Waseem Akbar & Muhammad Fahad Ansari then put up a decent partnership putting their team in a decent position. Muhammad Fahad Ansari scored 27 runs off 17 deliveries where as Waseem Akbar played a solid knock of 35 runs off 28 deliveries. Saad Fancy came in & he scored 21 runs off 15 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers made their comeback picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as the batsmen struggled to spend some time at the crease. Muhammad Anas Waheed lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Usman Ashraf & Asad Asif who picked up a couple of wickets each. Spartans United were bowled out for 139 runs in 18.2 overs.
