Rising Stars Crowned Champions

In the exciting grand final, Rising Stars narrowly defeated FD47 by 2 wickets in a high scoring thriller. FD47 batted first and set a challenging total of 201 for 9 in their 20 overs, powered by Ashir Ahmed Siddiqui’s explosive century, scoring 100 runs off 54 balls with 11 fours and 5 sixes. Key batting support came from A R Kayani with 24 runs and Qurban Brohi with 21. Rising Stars bowlers Abdul Rehman and Ismail Khan chipped in with 2 wickets each to try to contain the innings.

In reply, Rising Stars chased down the target, finishing at 202 for 8 in 18.3 overs. Saad Faisal was the standout batsman scoring 46 off 26 balls, while Fazal Malik played a crucial unbeaten innings of 66 off 32 balls to steer his team to victory. Farhan Shah also contributed a quickfire 33. On the bowling front, Abdul Rehman took 3 wickets for FD47, while Ismail Khan and Jahanzaib Razzaq took 2 wickets each, but it was not enough to stop Rising Stars clinching the title.
