Saeed Khan made a quick 21 before retiring, while Ajaz Ali smashed a key 58 off 32 to drive the innings alongside useful cameos from Haris Ali 23 off 19 and Saqib Basharat 23 off 21. Extras also played a big role in boosting the score. On the bowling front for EFU Life, Zohaib Ali Khan impressed with 3/10, and Muhammad Hamza 2/17 and Waqas Malik 2/14 provided strong support to keep pressure on Soneri Bank’s batters.
Soneri Bank’s reply never got going as they were bundled out for 71 in 13.4 overs, falling short by a huge margin. Their top scorer was M Sharukh with 11 runs, while Irshad Khan 9 and Yahya Javed 8 offered some resistance. Taha Shahid was the standout bowler for EFU Life with figures of 3/41, supported by Zohaib Ali Khan’s tight bowling, and Muhammad Tabish also chipped in with a crucial wicket to stifle the chase.
