Sky Hawks Win a Thriller

Sky Hawks batted first and put up a competitive 188/6 in 20 overs. Sharoze Siddiqui top-scored with 57 off 35 (4 fours, 2 sixes), while Hasan Khan hit a fluent 47 off 31 and Abid Malik contributed 45 off 35 in the upper order. Hasnain Ahmed remained unbeaten on 26 off 11 to push the total past 185. For Parekh King, Musharaf Sheikh took 3 wickets and Shoaib Parekh snared 2, but the bowling unit generally struggled to check the Sky Hawks’ strokeplay.

Parekh King responded with 181/8 in 20 overs, falling 7 runs short despite a valiant effort. Mursaleen was in brilliant touch, hammering 89 off 42 with 6 fours and 9 sixes, but he didn’t get enough support from the other end. Adam Parekh (32 off 26) and Musharaf Sheikh (13* off 10) offered some resistance, but wickets fell at crucial moments. Sky Hawks’ bowlers were disciplined, with Abid Malik claiming 2 wickets and Sajid Ashfaq also taking 2, while Suhaib Aadil Nawaz picked up 2 more to keep Parekh King in check.

Sky Hawks won by 7 runs in a tight contest, with Mursaleen’s outstanding 89 ultimately not enough to get Parekh King over the line.
