Masood XI faced PARCO in this thrilling friendlt fixture. PARCO had a decent start as they batted first. Ibrahim Akhtar and Khalid Sheikh started off well and played with control and calmness. Ibrahim scored 22 runs while Khalid Sheikh scored 27 runs off 34 balls. This decent opening partnership was not utilized to the maximum as the middle order failed to score big. Ali and Muzzamil took 3 wickets apiece and helped to restrict PARCO to 129 runs. PARCO lost all wickets in the process.
Masood XI had a similar start to that of their oppnents. Kamran scored 20 while Abdullah contributed 22 runs in the opening stand. But a shaky display of batting by the following two batsmen made the game more interesting. It was the lower order heroics by Sajid who brought his team back into the game, as he scored 24 runs. Arshad claimed 4 scalps for 15 runs and tried his best to keep Masood XI away from chasing the target. In the end the game reached heights of excitement as the match concluded in a tie.
