Gulshan Becks clashed with BJ Sports in this thrilling friendly fixture. Gulshan Becks batted first and were off to a shaky start as wickets kept falling from one end. Kamran Ahmed continued to score runs but he lacked support from the other end. It was Jibran Rufi who assisted Kamran and together they put their team back on track. Kamran scored 21 runs while Jibran ended up scoring 32 runs. Aziz and Waqas Khan gathered some runs in their brief stay on the crease. Ayub took 3 wickets while he was assisted by Rashid who claimed two scalps. At the end of 20 overs, Gulshan Becks scored 131 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
BJ Sports had a difficult start to life in their chase as a one end proved to be unlucky for the batsmen. Haji was the star batsman of the day as he stood like a rock in front of the opposition and was rewarded by a superb half century. But no other batsman supported Haji and with 2 consecutive ducks, BJ Sports were in deep trouble. Zain, Atif and Kashif Rajput took 2 wickets each in what was a commendable bowling performance. BJ Sports scored only 119 runs at the end of 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Gulshan Becks won the match by 12 runs.
