AAG CC v Diamond XI
4th Super Challengers Cup (20 over match)
AAG CC batted first and were off to a horrible start, losing their opener Taha to an unplayable ball for duck. The team then tried to stabilize the innings with Imran and Iqbal being the most notable contributors for their side, scoring 46 and 51 respectively. Anwer and Yaseen were the key bowlers, striking at crucial moments and picking up 2 wickets each. AAG CC eventually posted a respectable total of 173 in 20 overs.
Diamond XI had a disastrous day with the bat! They lost wickets too frequently and were never able to take control of the innings. Inam Agha fought hard with a commendable 49 runs along with Talha (34) but the team were never really in the chase. Kamran of AAG CC bowled a superb spell, picking up 3 wickets for just 15 runs in his 4 overs. Diamond XI were restricted to 139 in 20 overs.
AAG CC won by 34 runs.
