Classic Barbarians Vs A&I Properties

Classic Barbarians batted first and were off to a shaky start losing their openers quite early without much contributions from them. In a big game this was a real setback for them and they had to rethink their strategy. Umair Yousuf and Umair Usman then got together and started the repair work with their partnership, they added more than 50 runs together and provided some stability to the innings. Umair Yousuf scored 29 whereas Umair Usman scored 30 and just when things were getting better for Classic Barbarians, A&I Properties rocked back in the game. Hassan Shahab lead the way and picked up 3 crucial wickets which halted Barbarians progress. Hassan was supported by Bukhari who dismissed 2 batsmen and in the end A&I Properties managed to restrict Classic Barbarians to just 125.
It was a brilliant display with the ball by A&I Properties and they were hoping for an easy victory. But Classic Barbarians were charged up and had a bright beginning in the second innings, picking up a few early wickets. This little period created panic in A&I camp, but Aashir Ahmed and Fahadis Bukhari rescued the sinking ship with their crucial partnership. Aashir was in brilliant form and he scored a very fine half century in a crucial encounter, he batted with a strike rate of 161 and hit 6 fours and 1 six. His partner, Bukhari gave him good company scoring 26 of 27. In the end without any more hiccups, A&I Properties chased the target down in 18th over.
