A&B beat Allied Friends by 18 runs in a high scoring thriller at Moin Khan Academy Cricket Ground on 12-10-15.
Batting first, A&B posted a massive 226 on the board. Despite getting off to a shaky start due to the loss of early wickets, Ahrar Ahmed and Humayun Alamgir consolidated the innings and guided their team to a more than sufficient total contributing 78 and 70 respectively. Their 100 run partnership ensured that the Allied Friends would have to pull off something special in order to win.
However, this miracle seemed very unlikely as the Allied Friends lost early wickets and 3 run outs seemed like an assault to injury. Mustafa Mazhar and Omar Saigal gave their team hope by leading a late rampage but it was not enough and the Allied Friends only managed 208, falling short by just 18.
