Allied Friends Vs A&B (Khas & Viper Premiere League Season 2)
The opening pair was enough to take A&B all the way to grab a magnificent victory.
Allied Friends were to bat first in the first innings. The top batting order was out of form and were not able to score decent runs for their side. In the middle batting order Omer Iftikhar managed to score 37 runs against the vicious bowling attack. Allied Friends did try hard to put a decent target on the scoreboard for them to defend, but were unable to do so because of the strong bowling attack presented by the opposition. Allied Friends scored a total of 120 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 8 wickets. Most of the bowlers from A&B were able to pick up single wickets from themselves in the first inning.
The second innings was a quick one, when Bilal Ahmed and Ahrar Ahmed completed the match in quick manner and took their side all the way on winning the match by carrying a wonderful partnership of 102 runs. Both of the players scored 56 runs each for themselves. They were in tremendous form and they ensured that their team was at peace in the stands. Both of them knocked the ball around like it was almost nothing, hitting a couple of boundaries and massive sixes. They chased the target in 12 overs and won the match by 10 wickets. It almost looked like as if they were having fun. What a win for A&B.
