AbuBakar Associates and Olive Digital went against each other on 27th November at KCCA Cricket Ground.
Muhammad Salman and Danish Munir opened the innings for Olive Digital, scoring 24 and 4 runs respectively. The top-order was unable to contribute massively, as their wickets fell on fewer runs. Shahzaib Ahmed was clinical in damaging the batters momentum, as he bagged 4 wickets and bowled a maiden over. Adeel Khan stabilised the innings with his 31 off 28. In addition to this, Khafid Un Nabi and Ali Umer played cameos of 20+ runs each. Hence, Olive Digital posted a target of 128 runs at the loss of 9 wickets.
Fayyaz Ahmed, the opener, gave Associates a good start by scoring 29 runs, hitting 4 fours and 1 six. Muhammad Yaseen and Arif Jaggu held on to the momentum and smashed 25 and 23 runs respectively. Though Usman Shah dismissed 2 batters and Nehal Rasheed and Khafid took a wicket each; however, they were unable to stop the batters collectively.
As a result, AbuBakar Associates completed the chase in 18 overs with 6 wickets to spare.
