Aces batted first and they got off to a brilliant start thanks to the opening duo of Imran and Faizan as they smashed the bowlers all around the park during their stay and fiery opening partnership. Imran Hamid played a second fiddle role and a quick one as he scored 27 of 18 runs and the major contributor in the partnership, Faizan scored 62 of 36 balls, he batted with a strike rate of 172 after Imran’s dismissal he was joined in by Musaddiq who also was in brilliant touch as he scored 40 of 30 balls. The top 3 were in brilliant form and gave contributions in their team’s total. The rest of the batting order collapsed and could not contribute much. Waqar picked up 3 wickets whereas Huzaifa and Saqib picked up 2 each. In the end Aces scored 164 in their 20 overs.
Phantom Cricket Team had a tough task ahead and they were never allowed to get on top of the fielding side, as Aces bowlers kept things tight and kept the pressure on. Afaq and Shauqat Salman with the ball started the pressure and bowled in right channels and picked up 1 wicket each. Adil Rashid then picked up the middle order in his 3 over spell in which he gave just 13 runs. On the other hand, Huzaifa and Hamza scored some quick runs down the order but that was not enough for their side as they fell short by 31 runs.
