Emkay XI batted first and were off to a reasonable start, Asim was in good touch and he was partnered by Humza who scored 9 before he was run out. Asim was then joined by Adnan and the pair propelled the score forward. Asim gave good company to Adnan as he scored 23 off 19 whereas Adnan was in top form and was looking good, he scored 50 off 36 with 6 elegant fours and 2 monstrous sixes, but unfortunately for Emkay he was undone by Shaukat Salman when he was looking good for a big score. After picking up top order wickets, Aces came back strongly and did not allow much to the next batsmen. They maintain tight lines which restricted the batsmen from playing freely. The chief destroyer with the ball was Shaukat who picked up 3 for 17. In the end, Emkay XI scored 126 in their 20 overs.
In response, Aces got off to a wonderful start, even after losing Rumi for just 2, the next pair, Imran and Arif never looked worried and played awesome shots in their solid partnership. Imran scored 21 off 20 whereas Arif who was also the highest scorer of the innings scored 44 off 48 balls. After their dismissal, Mubashir propelled the score forward and he was supported by Mahood who scored 12 off 8. Mubashir hit 4 boundaries during his innings of 32 off 33 balls. In the end, Aces comfortably got over the line with 7 wickets in hand.
