Acme Technologies batted first and were off to a dream start as their openers looked in splendid touch with the bat. The opening partnership gave the middle order a picture-perfect opportunity to take their side to a very gigantic first innings score and that’s what Saif and Noman did they both scored quick 20s to take their side over 200, in their 20 overs.
With a scary target to chase down, Amadeus Super Cricketers were hopeful of a much better opening stand then they actually got as both the openers were dismissed quite early in the innings both by Ahmed. This left Amadeus Super Cricketers in a dire situation, a partnership was required and that’s what they got as Ibad and Ali provided the much needed steadiness. Both initially milked the bowlers and smashed the odd ball for a boundary but later on they took the charge on the bowlers as the required rate was climbing after each ball. The partnership was looking threatening for Acme Technologies but it was broken by Danish, who had a brilliant outing with the ball as he picked up 4 key wickets. Ibad managed to score 65 and Ali scored 38 after them no one could really stood firmly and Acme Technologies wrapped up the innings for just 164 and won the match easily by 41 runs.
